Welcome to the website van The Pipes & Drums of The Royal British Legion, Amsterdam Branch.

Although our name may suspect otherwise, our Band is located in Ede (Gld). Right now, we practice in Barneveld (some 15 kilometres from Ede ), but as soon as we have found the right location, we will move to Ede .

The Pipes & Drums Band are no strangers in the Pipeband world. For years now we perform on a regular basis at memorials, Tattoo’s, weddings and several other occasions.

Lately messages appear that The Pipes & Drums of The Royal British Legion, Amsterdam Branch do not exist any longer and have chosen a new name, but this story is incorrect. Our Band is very much alive.

You can become contributor of our Band for only € 15,00 a year. You will support our Band and with you contribution we will be able to purchase uniforms and instruments so can support the aim of The Royal British Legion and help collect money for The Poppy Appeal.

Within our Band we find it very important to have a good atmosphere. Therefore we are always looking for enthusiastic people who want to reinforce our Pipe band.

Are you interested in playing the pipes, snare- or tenor drum? please give us a call. The first month you will have to pay no contribution fee, so you can freely try if you like being a member of our Band.
